Mid-Atlantic Commercial Realty, LLC was founded by CEO Dana K. Weinberg in 2008 to provide superior tenant advisory services representing the interests of businesses and organizations looking to renew an existing lease, open a new office, relocate, expand or sublease space in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Our History

While Mr. Weinberg was an asset manager negotiating leases for landlords, he encountered far too many brokers representing tenants who had a purely transactional mindset.

These tenant representation brokers would negotiate the letter of intent, hand it off to a real estate attorney and move on to the next lease transaction. Where was the broker during the lease negotiation or the design and construction of the space? The personal touch, loyalty and passion to help a client achieve their goals were absent. When Mr. Weinberg founded Mid-Atlantic, he knew focusing on a client’s needs are and must be paramount. We seek to meet and exceed every client expectation. Contact us today for more information..


Mid-Atlantic’s clients cross many industries, serve domestic and international markets and lease office, industrial and retail spaces. Clients range in size from large businesses operating for over 30 years to start-ups. Mid-Atlantic understands each client’s target market and is pro-active to recommend their services and products to other businesses as opportunities arise.


Mid-Atlantic Commercial Realty is led by CEO Dana K. Weinberg who possesses over 22 years of experience in commercial real estate.

Prior to founding Mid-Atlantic Commercial Realty, Mr. Weinberg held various asset management and leasing positions with various real estate investment firms including ING Real Estate, Bresler & Reiner, Inc. and RREEF. In these roles, Mr. Weinberg was responsible for all lease negotiations, construction and operational decisions to maximize property and portfolio investment performance throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. His extensive asset management experience has given him an insider’s view of how landlords think and make decisions, a direct benefit to clients.

Mr. Weinberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a M.B.A. from Boston College. He is the firms’ principal broker and is licensed in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

We have been involved with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) as a volunteer motivational speaker, mentor and business plan coach to entrepreneurial high school students in the metro DC area.
